The Montessori School of Bowling Green will start classes August 12, 2008 in the historic Underwood-Jones Estate on State Street,
downtown Bowling Green.

"The historic Underwood-Jones Estate will provide a beautiful backdrop for our new school. It's history, location, unique architecture, and spacious rooms are perfect for a Montessori School," exclaims Lara Spears, new owner and administrator. "Our parents love it's convenient location, and the fact that it has a rich heritage in service to the community."
Lara is just part of the dynamic leadership for the new school. She has partnered with
Jennifer Hewett, owner and AMI certified instructor, to offer the unique curriculum developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. "Parents are looking for curriculum that acknowledges different learning styles, and guarantees results," remarks Jennifer. "Montessori children learn through experience... our children think they are playing, but they can read, identify the bones in the body, and solve complex math problems."
